NEW SCHOOL VALUE: To introduce and instill the qualities of their new school value, all Clarendon Primary girls participated in various GRIT games across the campus. Teams completed science, technology, engineering, arts and applied maths (STEAM) activities showcasing the true value of GRIT!

FESTIVE FIRST DAY: The Clarendon Primary staff and teachers were in high spirits and just as excited as their pupils to get the new school year started.

SMILES ALL AROUND: Alongside the teachers, Dr Melanie Drake and Mrs Elizabeth Maree welcomed the girls with hugs and high-fives as they arrived on Wednesday morning. Georgia Cruickshank and Sarah Butcher were captured on camera at the entrance.

GRIT: In addition to an exciting morning welcome at the school gates, and in celebration of the new school value ‘Grit’, the teachers surprised the girls with a flash mob, dancing to the Trolls theme song ‘Get Back Up Again’.
