The Clarendon High School Matrics of 2016 have achieved an outstanding set of results, which reflect the strong work ethic and dedication to excellence which prevails in our school and are part of our ethos. Our 24th year of 100% pass rate consisted of a third place in the province for our Dux, Moya Eybers, eight Cum Laude passes; 43 A aggregates; 400 subject distinctions; 60 B aggregates; 36 C aggregates; 141 Bachelor Passes and 2 Diploma passes. We are proud of every single one of these girls. The matrics of 2016 accepted the challenge and produced their best efforts to improve, to succeed. Congratulations to all of them. Pictured are the 2016 matriculants of Merrifield Collage. The school has once again received a 100% pass rate with 35 of the 36 matriculants attaining University entrance passes. 20% of the pupils achieved overall averages of over 80% with a total of 72 distinctions achieved by the class.

COMING OUT TOPS: Hudson Primary School did exceptionally well in the Conquesta Olympiads last year. Out of more than 500 schools that wrote the Olympiad, including schools from other Southern African countries, Hudson Primary achieved incredible results and is once again a 'Top 20 school'.

TOP ACHIEVER: Congratulations to Cwayita Kweyi who achieved the highest matriculation results out of the Student Sponsorship Programme (SSP) students in South Africa. Cwayita obtained 7 distinctions in her final matriculation examinations and obtained an overall aggregrate of 87.4%. She has also been awarded two bursaries to further her studies. Kweyi received an Allan Gray and Gallagher Foundation Bursary and will be attending the University of Cape Town to study study actuarial science. With her is Clarendon High School principal Pat Rose.
