Cubs, Meercats in big litter clean-up

On Saturday, March 4, more than 80 1st Cambridge Meerkats, 1st Cambridge and 1st Vincent Cubs and their families, along with local residents from Cambridge West, joined forces to participate in a litter clean-up in the area.The litter clean-up was a great success, with more than 60 black bags of litter collected.The Cambridge West KwikSpar also played a vital role in the event by offering their rubbish skip as a place to deposit the black bags full of litter.The litter clean-up event was a great way to bring the local community together to make a positive impact on the environment. Scouts believes it is important to take action to reduce litter in local communities and create a cleaner, more sustainable environment.
