Stage 2 loadshedding returned countrywide from 12 midday today, July 10, 2020 and is set to continue until 10pm tonight.
This stage is initiated if the reduction in the demand for supply remains insufficient to safeguard the National Grid and means that 10% of Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality’s (BCMM) load profile will be required to load shed for a period of 3 hours.
